okay, is it just me or is everyone in a fucking band and bisexual these days? i swear to god i hate my generation. they confuse the word trendy with inspired. i dont want to hear your "music", i.e. "grunge / pop-rock / emo / okay.. we're really just beating on trash cans and screaming because we're mad that my mom took away my drumset and society is trying to hold us down!!!" garbage while you make out with a member of the same sex who is sporting a tight fitting RANCID t-shirt. i have an idea! how about you try on another spiked bracelet, get the same haircut as all your friends, and don a tattoo claiming your freedom of all things corporate! that would be so avant-garde. today the handlebar mustache is the new sushi, straight is the new gay, brown is the new pink, looking poor is the new wealthy, and being a complete fucking moron is the new intellectual. maybe i dont hate my generation. no, i hate all of the propaganda and bullshit that got the world to where it is today. </ rant>
this isnt directed at anyone in particular and hasnt bothered me until this very second. its not meant to be personal, its just a rant.. a thread that has been pulled at for years now, we all have them. i cant believe i feel the need to include "the fine print" at the bottom.
